trying to decide from which of the credit reporting agencies

An Overview of the Three Major Credit Reporting
Agencies
Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion are the
big three of credit bureaus in operation today. These credit
reporting agencies provide the vast majority of credit reports
to lenders and others who are reviewing a consumer’s
credit history.
It was these three major credit reporting
agencies that encouraged the development of the scoring system,
which has become known as the FICO score, in the 1980s. The
FICO credit score was developed by a company known as Fair
Issac and Company.
Your Right to a Copy of Your Credit Report
Several years ago, the Congress of the United
States enacted legislation that was signed into law by the
President which permitted a consumer the ability to obtain
a free copy of his or her credit report from each of the three
major credit reporting agencies on an annual basis. In other
words, you have an absolute right to obtain your credit report
-- and your credit score -- from each of the big three credit
reporting agencies once a year for no charge whatsoever.
